You can’t play golf with any normal street shoes. You need golf shoes. Reason? Golf shoes have spikes on the shoes that anchor your feet to the ground during the golf swing. The power of the golf swing comes from the torque produce by the turning of upper body against the lower body. This means that the feet position cannot shift during the golf swing. Doing so will cause the player to lose balance and hit a poor shot or injure himself or both.

So have a good pair of golf shoes is very important.

Things to look out for when buying a pair of golf shoes:

  • Looks good.
  • Comfortable sole cushioning.
  • Lightweight.
  • Breathable to allow air moisture to escape
  • Waterproof.
  • Made from good quality leather.
